Innovation Lab
The Innovation Lab is the creative studio’s engine for experimentation, ideation, and forward-thinking formats. It exists to challenge norms, explore emerging technologies, and elevate brand storytelling through innovation.
1. New Format Innovation & Creative Prototypes:
- We regularly develop and test proactive creatives-new creative formats that anticipate client and market needs to stay ahead of media trends and platform shifts. This includes developing interactive experiences using advanced platforms, gesture-based technology, and 3D/CGI innovation. Our explorations include:
- Interactive mini-games built on platforms like Cocos, Godot, and PlayCanvas
- Gesture-based interactions such as scroll, tilt, and drag-to-reveal
- Data-driven dynamic creatives that change in real-time based on user behavior or inputs
- Gamified surveys, rewards, and spin-the-wheel mechanics
- Custom interactive 3D formats using WebGL, Three.js, and native 3D engines
- 3D/CGI innovation by combining high-quality 3D models with AI-driven enhancements for automated animation, personalization, and content generation
2. Experiments in Gamification & Storytelling via Mockups:
- Gamification plays a key role in how we increase user interaction, dwell time, and memorability. We also experiment with storytelling through mockups that include AI-generated imagery, voice narration, and game logic. Our internal tests explore:
- Tap-and-play mini games
- Educational or storytelling challenges (e.g., brushing game, quiz race)
- Reward-led mechanics (unlock, collect, match)
- Cross-platform consistency in mobile vs desktop experiences
- Use of AI to generate visual mockups and illustrations
- AI-powered script-to-voice narration to simulate final storytelling
- Game mechanics and flows are developed with AI support for code or logic building.
2.1. What, Why, How
- We define each innovation initiative based on:
- What we are building or exploring
- Why it matters from a creative, platform, or user-experience perspective
- How we plan to prototype, test, and evaluate it
2.2. Competitor Analysis
- We study platform innovations, creative best practices, and format evolution across:
- Industry-leading creative tech studios
- Global agency showreels and award platforms
- Benchmarking tools and competitor campaign trackers
2.3. Research & Development (R&D)
- Each quarter, the team takes up a focused R&D sprint to explore experimental tech, visual techniques, or platform usage. This feeds into both internal training and client-facing innovation.
2.4. Creative Trends
- We stay on top of emerging trends through:
- Platform release notes and updates
- Creative marketing blogs, webinars, and global showcases
- Internal Slack channels and curated inspiration folders
3. Post Creative Discussions:
- Each innovation cycle is discussed and documented through ASANA, which highlights:
- The problem/brief
- The innovative approach taken
- Tools or platforms used
- Engagement results, learning outcomes, and creative insights
4. What’s Next / In R&D:
- The lab actively explores future formats and tools:
- AI-powered content personalization
- AR/VR prototypes and trials
- CTV-native creatives
- Real-time data-fed visual storytelling
We encourage cross-team collaboration, weekly brainstorming sessions, and internal challenges to keep ideas flowing. The Innovation Lab acts as a creative playground for testing bold, original thinking before full-scale execution.
